Abstrak

Mother and Child Hospital is a health service facility that serves special patients for mothers and children, in an effort to provide health services to people who are far from health services, the need for health facilities that can help the handling process quickly, cases of death are quite high in Jember Regency. On average, it is caused by the lack of health service facilities and the distance to health services, which makes the treatment process late, besides that the condition of the hospital environment that does not pay attention to the psychology of the patients makes the atmosphere uncomfortable and makes the recovery process slow, Sumberjambe sub-district only has health services. puskesmas and still cannot solve the problem of death due to limited facilities and equipment. The method used in this research is data collection methods consisting of primary data and secondary data, data presentation methods and data analysis methods. From the problems and the results of the analysis, the need for health service facilities for mother and child hospitals with a healing environment approach in Sumberjambe sub-district, Jember Regency is expected to be able to help people who are far from health services so that the handling process can take place quickly, in addition to the application of the healing environment concept and modern themes. tropical building so that it displays a healing environment with a building design that adapts to climatic conditions.
