Kebijakan Dinas Pariwisata Dalam Meningkatkan Kunjungan Wisatawan di Kabupaten Badung

Abstract


Badung regency is one of the districts in the province of Bali, the capital was in Mangupura, Badung regency is divided into six districts, namely: Petang, Abiansemal, Mengwi, Kuta, North, and South Kuta. Badung Regency is a major tourist destination for tourists, both foreign or domestic tourists. To maintain sustainable tourism development in order to continue the Badung regency of the title as a major tourist destination, we need a policy that can be used as guidelines to determine and implement the programs or activities that are useful to be able to continue to increase the number of tourists visiting this area. Based on the above description could finally formulate the problem as follows: "How Policies to Enhance Tourism Office Visits Travelers in Badung". This study is a descriptive study with qualitative data support. Data collection techniques acquired through observation, interview, and documentation. Research methods using techniques and sample units of study, determination of informants were selected based on people who are competent in preparing and running an existing policy in Badung Tourism Office. As head of Badung Tourism Office and the entire head of the Division in the Department of Tourism. Powered by policy theory, and the theory of the increase in the number of tourists. In order to obtain the data that really fit with tified and tested its validity, then used triangulation of data, while data analysis techniques using interactive analysis. From the results of this study showed that the policy function Badung Tourism Office provides guidance, traffic signs and signals important in the development of programs and activities, provide information about how the strategy and its application in society, provides guidance to implementers, for smooth operation and integration efforts to achieve the vision and mission of Government Tourism Office. In order to achieve the vision and mission of the Badung Tourism Office formulate strategies through the establishment of policies, programs and activities that are carried out every year. The strategies and policies Badung Tourism Office include implementing tourism development by improving the quality of objects and attractions and tourism facilities, increasing the amount of tourism development by fostering community members in the field of tourism, and develop the tourism industry, improve the promotion of an integrated and sustainable tourism by providing promotional media, and follow the tourism events both inside and outside the country. Badung Tourism Office Policy produce good effects for the tourism sector in Badung, every year is evidenced by an increase in the number of tourists who visit the Badung regency.
