PEMANFAATAN LAHAN “TEBA” DALAM KONSERVASI SUMBER DAYA AIR

Abstract

Air merupakan kebutuhan utama semua makhluk hidup. Dengan pertambahan penduduk yang sangat cepat, kebutuhan akan airpun meningkat. Masalah airpun menjadi isue global termasuk di Bali. Walaupun di Bali dikenal konsep keselarasan dan keseimbangan mengenai sumber daya air yaitu Sad Kerti (6 keselarasan), namun seiring dengan bertambahnya penduduk yang pesat dan kebutuhan ekonomi yang juga meningkat, konsep ini seakan mulai ditinggalkan. Sebagai upaya untuk mengembalikan keselarasan dan keseimbangan sumber daya air maka dibutuhkan peran serta berbagai pihak untuk mulai melakukan konservasi sumber daya air khususnya dipekarangan rumah termasuk lahan “tebaâ€. Kata kunci: pemanfaatan, lahanâ€tebaâ€, konservasi, sumber daya air.
