Author Guideline and Online Submission
Steps For Online Submission
After having username/password for logging in into Kulturistik: Jurnal Bahasa dan Budaya, the author will be brought into online author submission interface where the author should click “new submission†or click “click here†in the start new submission section.
Step 1 – Starting The Submission: The author should check-mark the journal check list and it should be appropriate with the article’s content. The author can give comment to the editor in the comments for editor section.
Step 2 – Uploading The Submission: To upload the manuscript into the journal, click browse/choose file on the upload submission file and choose the manuscript document file (.doc/.docx) to be submitted, then click “upload†button until the file has been uploaded.
Step 3 – Entering Submission’s Metadata: In this step, detail authors metadata should be entered including marked corresponding author. After that, manuscript title and abstract must be uploaded by copying the text and paste in the textbox including keywords.
Step 4 – Uploading Supplementary Files: Supplementary file should be uploaded. Therefore, click on Browse button, choose the files, and then click on Upload button. If there is no supplementary files to be uploaded just click “save and continue†button.
Step – 5 Confirming The Submission: Author should final check the uploaded manuscript documents in this step. To submit the manuscript to Kulturistik: Jurnal Bahasa dan Budaya, click Finish Submission button after the documents are true. The corresponding author or the principal contact will receive an acknowledgment by email and will be able to view the submission’s progress through the editorial process by logging in to the journal web address site.
After this submission, Authors who submit the manuscript will get a confirmation email about the submission. Therefore, Authors are able to track their submission status at any time by logging in to the online submission interface. The submission tracking includes a status of manuscript review and editorial process.

All manuscripts must be submitted to Kulturistik: Jurnal Bahasa dan Budaya Editorial Office by Online Submission at E-Journal portal address: (https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/kulturistik/about/submissions),

Manuscript must be written in English at least 10 pages and 13 pages of maximum including picture, table, and diagram. The manuscript should be written based on the Kulturistik: Jurnal Bahasa dan Budaya format.

Reviewing Manuscript
Every submitted paper is independently reviewed by reviewer. The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. If the reviewer consider a manuscript unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the authors within three months of the submission date.
Revision Manuscript
Manuscripts sent back to the author for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. Revised manuscripts can be sent to editorial office through the Online Submission Interface. The revised manuscripts returned later than three months will be considered as new submissions.

Manuscript Preparation Guideline
All manuscript submitted into Kulturistik: Jurnal Bahasa dan Budaya is checked and decided by the Editor. The manuscript which is not appropriate with the Kulturistik: Jurnal Bahasa dan Budaya format will be rejected. The manuscript which is appropriate with Kulturistik: Jurnal Bahasa dan Budaya format will be accepted and confirmed through email by Editor.
Manuscript Format
The manuscript which is submitted into Kulturistik: Jurnal Bahasa dan Budaya should contain at least with 10-13 pages. The manuscript must be in ms word format, paper size A4 and Font size 11, with format like:
- INTRODUCTION/(PENDAHULUAN)
- METHOD/(METODE)
- RESULT AND DISCUSSION/(HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN)
- CONCLUSION/(SIMPULAN)
- REFERENCES/(DAFTAR PUSTAKA)

Abstract and Keywords
Abstract is typed using font TNR 10pt and line spacing 1.0. It should be justified and it consists of maximally 200 words. The abstract should be typed as concise as possible and should be composed of purposes, source and kind of data, methods, and result of analysis. If the article is written in Indonesian, the abstract should be typed in Indonesian and English. If the article is written in English, the abstract is only typed in English

- Keyword (TNR 10pt, alphabetically ordered, separated with semi colon)
Introduction (TNR 11pt Bold Capital)
(Indent 0.63 cm) The article consists of introduction, method, discussion, conclusion, and references. The article content is typed using TNR 11 points. The article as a whole consists of 3500-6000 words. The introduction consists of the background, the issues raised, and the objectives of the research conducted. The heading in the article (introduction, method, discussion, conclusion, bibliography) is typed using TNR 11pt, that is bold and capital. The line space used is 1.0 point.
In this introduction, the writer must also present a literature review related to the research conducted. APA (American Psychological Association) style is the citation applied in this journal. The citation can be done by using the Mendeley application program (recommended). Examples of citation articles (Agassi, 2016). Examples of book citations (Westa, 2013). Examples of thesis citations (Winaya, 2015). Complete the article sent with the page number.
Method (TNR 11pt, Bold, Capital)
(Indent 0.63 cm) In this section, the method used in the study must be described in detail, such as the method and technique in collecting data, analyzing data, and presenting the results of data analysis.
Result and Discussion (TNR 11pt, Bold, Capital)
(Indent 0.63 cm) This section contains the results of the analysis conducted, specifically in answering the problem presented in the introduction. The discussion is made in accordance with the findings of the research conducted. If it is necessary to make a chart in the discussion, then make a clear chart by uniting all the elements of the chart (grouping).
If the writer wants to present the findings in tabular form, the table must use TNR 10pt with line space1.0 pt. When using diagrams / charts, make sure every part of the chart has been grouped together and must be clear and easy to read.
Conclusion (TNR 11pt, Bold, Capital)
(Indent 0.63 cm) This section contains conclusions from the research conducted. Present conclusions briefly, concisely and clearly.
Reference (TNR 11pt, Bold, Capital)
Reference consists of at least 20 citations with a proportion of 60% scientific articles and 40% of books. Authors using the Mendeley application can insert a bibliography by selecting the APA (American Psychological Association) citation style.
