The methodology of this study uses bibliometric analysis. Research data were obtained through the Publish or Perish database with the keywords ‘rural entrepreneurship’ and ‘urban entrepreneurship’ with a publication period from 2014 to 2024. The data that has been collected was then analyzed using VOSviewer software. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that entrepreneurship plays an important role in driving economic growth and social development. Rural entrepreneurship mainly focuses on developing rural areas through innovation, managing unique challenges, and strengthening communities, while urban entrepreneurship focuses more on innovation and improving the quality of life in urban environments. Non-procedural PMIs force themselves on migrant workers without proper permission, violating legalities such as incomplete documents and legal provisions, potentially leading to legal problems. Non-procedural PMIs also tend not to go through the placement selection process with a credible agency. The study aims to examine the role of government regulation in moderating the influence of competence on PMI candidate recruitment. The research population consists of Indonesian migrant workers' distributor agencies spread across nine districts and cities in Bali province. The research sample comprises 10 agencies and 10 recruiters who recruited during the years 2021 and 2022 as candidate migrants to 117 placement companies. Data collection for competence variables, government regulations, and placement using questionnaires that have passed validity and reliability tests is a good measurement scale. We analyzed the research data using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, aided by SMART-PLS software, to examine the direct impact of competence on placement, the influence of government regulations on placement, and the moderating effect of governmental regulations on the impact of competence on placement. This study showed that (1) competence had a positive and significant effect on placement, which was backed up by strong empirical data; (2) government regulations also had a positive and significant effect on placement, which was backed up by empire data; and (3) the way that government regulations moderated the relationship between competence and placement was hindering.</p> I Gde Leo Sastra Irene Hanna Sihombing I Putu Utama Copyright (c) 2024-09-18 2024-09-18 11 2 123 132 10.22225/jj.11.2.2024.15-24 SMEs reduce the country's problems in terms of labor in Indonesia https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/jagaditha/article/view/9359 <p style="text-align: justify;">One of the economic problems in a country is unemployment. Various alternative solutions are carried out by the state to reduce the unemployment rate. One of them is to increase the number of SMEs in the hope that the number of exports and investments can reduce the unemployment faced by a country. However, the problems of SMEs in Indonesia are influenced by several factors such as lack of mastery of technology, managerial and access to credit which is still difficult. This study aims at the impact of the number of SME units, exports, and investment on employment in the SME sector in Indonesia. The data used data on the number of SME units, exports, investment, and labor in SME sectors from 1997 to 2019 were sourced from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia, with a random effect model as an analysis tool. The results showed that the number of SME units, exports, and investments had an impact on employment, both partially and simultaneously. This research implies that the government should provide tax incentives for SMEs, soft skills training, strengthen the capacity of SMEs, and provide adequate access to capital. The limitations of this study are that it does not look at SMEs by type of business. The review reveals the multifaceted nature of factors influencing gender disparities in financial access and their consequent business performance. While some scholars debate the role of gender discrimination versus differences in motivations and preferences between male and female entrepreneurs, empirical evidence suggests that disparities persist, albeit with variations across regions. Notably, studies highlight differences in loan sizes between women and men, indicating nuanced challenges faced by women in accessing formal finance. Furthermore, contextual factors such as the level of financial development, institutional norms, gender behavior, and individual perceptions shaped by stereotypes contribute to these disparities. Policy initiatives promoting gender equality in financial access and fostering an inclusive business environment emerge as crucial strategies to address these challenges and harness the potential of women entrepreneurs for economic development. There is a decline in the performance of Cooperative employees in Abiansemal District which can be seen from the failure to achieve loan realization targets. This is due to the low level of competence possessed by employees work life balance employees and the low work ethic of employees. This shows that employee performance is influenced by several factors, namely competence, work life balance and work ethic. The population in this study was the Head of Cooperatives in Abiansemal District, totaling 114 people. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. This research is to determine the effect of business motivation on MSME performance and the moderating role of the Tri Hita Karana dimension in improving business performance so as to have an impact on business sustainability. The population used in this study were 32,226 units of MSMEs in Denpasar City. To obtain the sample, the slovin formula was used with a precision of 10%. Based on the calculation results of the Slovin formula, a sample of 99.69 is obtained (rounded upBecomes100) respondents. The determination of the research sample was carried out in a simple random based on clusters. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to MSME owners in the city of Denpasar who were the research samples directly or through google forms. The research approach used is descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach using the Smart PLS programme. The population in this study is the owner of a woven fabric business (endek) in the Klungkung Regency, Bali Province. The results showed that dynamic capability could directly determine the product innovation and competitive advantage of woven fabric SMEs (endek) in the Klungkung Regency, Bali Province. However, product innovation can produce a competitive advantage for woven fabric SMEs (endek) in the Klungkung Regency, Bali Province. When purchasing makeup products, it is crucial to consider factors such as shade selection, ingredients, and other important factors. Social media platforms have become a crucial source of information for people, and they offer the advantage of reaching a large audience. The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of social media marketing and FOMO on purchase intention through electronic word of mouth (E-WOM). The study involved 100 respondents aged between 17 to 25 years, who followed the TikTok account @Luxcrime_id and had searched for information about Luxcrime products. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, and the study employed quantitative methods with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). The research findings indicate that social media marketing, FOMO, and electronic word of mouth have a positive impact on purchase intention. Non-cash money or electronic money (e-money) is a payment instrument that fulfills the elements, namely issued on the basis of the value of money deposited in advance by the holder to the issuer, the value of money is stored electronically in a medium such as a server or chip, used as a means of payment to merchants who are not the issuer of the electronic money and the value of electronic money deposited by the holder and managed by the issuer is not a deposit as referred to in the laws governing banking.The benefits and convenience offered by electronic money can influence the increase in users. When a product has benefits and convenience when used in everyday life, it is likely that the product will be used by the wider community. This study aims to explain the factors that influence trust and its consequences on continuous usage intention of e-money in Denpasar City in terms of perceived benefits, perceived convenience and perceived risk. Trust here acts as a mediating variable. The research sample was 100 people in Denpasar city. The research method used is quantitative method with PLS-based structural equation model analysis or SEM. This research shows that perceived benefits and perceived ease of use influence respondents confidence in using e-money continuously, while perceived risk does not show any influence on respondents confidence in their intention to use e-money continuously. The population used in this research is all Else Corset consumers with an unknown population size. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling which can be used is accidental sampling with a sample size of 96 respondents. This research uses several questionnaire methods as data collection. The questionnaire is a written list of questions, designed with reference to data measurement instruments to measure perceived credibility of product, brand resonance, and consumer's trust in social media marketing. One method for analyzing moderating variables is moderating regression analysis. Moderated regression analysis is a regression analysis that involves moderating variables in building a relationship model. The research results show that Perceived Credibility of Product has a positive and significant effect on Brand Loyalty. Brand Resonance has a positive and significant effect on Brand Loyalty. Customer's Social Media Marketing can strengthen the Perceived Credibility of Products in Brand Loyalty. Customer's Social Media Marketing is unable to strengthen the influence of Brand Resonance on Brand Loyalty. To increase brand loyalty, companies must focus on building product credibility through high-quality products, transparent communication, and expert support. In addition, Els Korset should utilize social media marketing to strengthen the positive impact of perceived product credibility on brand loyalty.
