Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

ONLINE SUBMISSION AND AUTHOR GUIDELINE

 

Steps For Online Submission

After having username/password for logging in into Gema Agro, the author will be brought into online author submission interface where the author should click “new submission” or click “click here” in the start new submission section.

 

Step 1 – Starting The Submission: The author should check-mark the journal check list and it should be appropriate with the article’s content. The author can give comment to the editor in the comments for editor section.

 

Step 2 – Uploading The Submission: To upload the manuscript into the journal, click browse/choose file on the upload submission file and choose the manuscript document file (.doc/.docx) to be submitted, then click “upload” button until the file has been uploaded.

 

Step 3 – Entering Submission’s Metadata: In this step, detail authors metadata should be entered including marked corresponding author. After that, manuscript title and abstract must be uploaded by copying the text and paste in the textbox including keywords.

 

Step 4 – Uploading Supplementary Files: Supplementary file should be uploaded including Covering/Submission Letter, and Signed Copyright Transfer Agreement Form. Therefore, click on Browse button, choose the files, and then click on Upload button. If there is no supplementary files to be uploaded just click “save and continue” button.

 

Step – 5 Confirming The Submission: Author should final check the uploaded manuscript documents in this step. To submit the manuscript to GEMA AGRO, click Finish Submission button after the documents are true. The corresponding author or the principal contact will receive an acknowledgment by email and will be able to view the submission’s progress through the editorial process by logging in to the journal web address site.

 

After this submission, Authors who submit the manuscript will get a confirmation email about the submission. Therefore, Authors are able to track their submission status at any time by logging in to the online submission interface. The submission tracking includes a status of manuscript review and editorial process.

 

Author Guideline

1. General Author Guideline

All manuscripts must be submitted to Gema Agro Office by Online Submission at E-Journal portal address, Where author register as Author and/or offered as Reviewer by online. If authors have any problems on the online submission, please contact Editorial Office at the following email: jurnal.gemaagro@gmail.com.

Manuscript written in Indonesia. The manuscript should be written based on the Gema Agro format.

 

2. Manuscript Template

Manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines in the MS Word article click here for manuscript format

 

3. Reviewing Manuscript

Every submitted paper is independently reviewed by reviewer. The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. If the reviewer consider a manuscript unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the authors within three months of the submission date.

 

4. Revision Manuscript

Manuscripts sent back to the author for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. Revised manuscripts can be sent to editorial office through the Online Submission Interface. The revised manuscripts returned later than three months will be considered as new submissions.

6. Manuscript Preparation Guideline

All manuscript submitted into Gema Agro is checked and decided by the Editor of Gema Agro. The manuscript which is not appropriate with the Gema Agro format will be rejected. The manuscript which is appropriate with Gema Agro format will be accepted and confirmed through email by Editor.

 

6.1. Manuscript Format

the manuscript which is submitted into Gema Agro should contain at least with 10-15 pages with format like:

  1. INTRODUCTION
  2. METHOD
  3. DISCUSSION
  4. CONCLUSION
  5. ACKNOLEDGEMENT
  6. REFERENCES

 

6.2. Manuscript Title

  • 14 pt Times New Roman
  • Bold
  • Center

 

6.3. Author Detail

  • Name (11 pt Times New Roman, center)
  • Affiliation (10 pt Times New Roman, bold, center)
  • Email (10 pt Times New Roman, center)

 

6.4. Abstract and Keywords

Manuscript abstract should be in English

  • Heading (9 pt Times New Roman, Bold, italic, Center)
  • Body (9 pt Times New Roman, italic, justify, spacing 1.0pt)
  • Keyword (9 pt Times New Roman, italic, Align Left)

 

6.5. INTRODUCTION

In Introduction, Authors should state the objectives of the work at the end of introduction section. Before the objective, Authors should provide an adequate background, and very short literature survey in order to record the existing solutions/method, to show which is the best of previous researches, to show the main limitation of the previous researches, to show what do you hope to achieve (to solve the limitation), and to show the scientific merit or novelties of the paper. Avoid a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.

6.6. METHOD

In Methods, Authors should state the methods which used in the research by very short literature survey in order to record the existing solutions/method.

6.7. DISCUSSION

Results should be clear and concise. In the Discussion, it is the most important of your article. Make the discussion correspond with the finding but do not reiterate the discussion.

6.8. CONCLUSION

Conclusions should answer the objectives of the research. Tells how your work advances the field from the present state of knowledge. Without clear Conclusions, reviewers and readers will find it difficult to judge the work.

6.9. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Recognize those who helped in the research, especially funding supporter of your research. Include individuals who have assisted you in your study: Advisors, Financial supporters, or may another supporter, i.e. Proofreaders, Typists, and Suppliers, who may have given materials.
